Kindergarten Readiness Programming

For Children 3 – 5 years old who are registering to attend school for the first time in the current year. Each child must be able to commit to the entire 6-week session. (Four days at 3 hours per day). Offered in English Only. Children who have no formal childcare or preschool experience will be given priority in this program. When sponsorship is not available, this program may be offered on a fee-for-service basis. See Events for our current schedule.

Bonding with Baby ($)

These four 1.5 hour classes focus on Infant Massage and Baby Sign Language.

The first half of class will be spent demonstrating and practicing the simple techniques of Infant Massage to help babies with gas, colic, constipation, teething and soothing those “fussies”. In addition, some specialists believe it is linked to enhancing the child-parent bond as well as development and communication.

The second part of each class will include some practical exercises in Baby Sign, a specialized sign language used to communicate with preverbal infants and toddlers. Many believe that Baby Sign Language can reduce frustration and tantrums and facilitates enhanced language development in young children.

See Events for our next scheduled class.
